How an okapi moves

Okapis have four functioning legs that are on the ground virtually 100% of the time.  The hind legs function like a horse or zebras', where the knee bends "backwards."  The two front legs have a knee that bends like a human's. Their pattern in which they walk is like a giraffes'; both the back and front leg moves on the same side of the body.
