Nervous system

 

Okapis have a nervous sysem that is similar to all mammals, in that the brain controls and sends signals to different parts of the body down the spinal cord.  There is a system of nerves and receptros in okapis that perform various functions, depending on the signal received from the brain.  Neurotransmitters allow different sensations when feeling, such as pain.
